Short warmup in Babolna
The crew of Buggyra Ultimate Dakar, Tomas Ourednicek and Pavel Vaculik spend this weekend in Babolna, Hungary, taking part in Feherep Cup, fourth round of the Central European Zone Trophy and second round of the Hungarian championship. In Friday’s extra short Superspecial, Tomas and Pavel clocked the 10th time after a mistake.
“We arrived too fast in a muddy corner and lost quite much time with that. It was my mistake, but the gap in the classification is only 16 seconds, and we have two long days in front of us. The car is OK, so we are looking forward to tomorrow’s stage. We love these tracks, last year we scored our first stage win here and finished on the podium. We aim for the same this year, but the competition is really hard, the best drivers from Poland, Czechia and, of course, Hungary are all here” Tomas Ourednicek said.
After Friday’s 4 km Superspecial, Feherep Cup continues with five specials on Saturday and another five on Sunday. The total distance of the rally is 544 km.
