A very positive warm-up
Opening day of Baja Drawsko became very exciting for Tomas Ourednicek and Pavel Vaculik: the crew of Buggyra Ultimate Dakar clocked the 3rd time in the 6.5 km long Superspecial with their Hummer H3 EVO.
“Everything is fine! The track was a bit slippery, it took some time for me to adapt. There were a lot of spectators near the track, especially at the big jump, but we decided to stay on the safe side. I wasn’t really happy with the car, but the result is excellent so I am optimistic. We are looking forward to tomorrow!” a smiling Tomas Ourednicek summed up the first stage.
Tatra Buggyra Racing’s two trucks also had a successful day, with Martin Kolomy driving ‘Fat Boy’ to category lead and truck racing legend David Vrsecky finishing 3rd in his very first race kilometres in cross-country rallies with ‘Phoenix’.
Baja Drawsko, second round of the Central European Zone Trophy and first round of the Polish and the Czech championships, ends on Saturday with two 175 km specials on military area ‘Poligon Drawski’. The results of the #107 Hummer H3 EVO can be followed on the event’s website www.bajadrawsko.pl.
