Hungarian gold for Czech team

Tomáš Ouředníček (CZ) / Pavel Vaculík (CZ) – Hummer H3 EVO 1 – 7th place overall, 1st place in T1.1.2 category

Hungarian renowned spa town Gyula situated near Romanian border was a beautiful venue for another race from the Hungarian CrossCountry Rallye Champioship series held on the second weekend in June.
Offroadsport.cz Team brought three racing Hummer H3 EVO to the starting line: Zapletal/Marton crew, Ouředníček/Vaculík crew, and Pořízek/Sýkora. As the start list was full of names of famous pilots and factory teams presenting their cars (Ford, Toyota, Schlesser, OPEL Dakar team) a very competitive race was expected.
Pořízek/Sýkora crew did not finish the race because of the unexpected personal issue that forced him to return home.
Not only the engine but primarily the experience of a pilot and his navigator win the race on such fast and winding hungarian tracks. „ I can confirm that and I am so glad I could be here and feel great after this fantastic race!“ comments Miroslav Zapletal, winner of the T1.2.3 diesel category and of the overall ranking as well.
Tomas Ourednicek also gained great result by avoiding any fatal mistake that would result in an accident. The Ourednicek/Vaculik crew reached the golden cup in T1.1.2 category and 7th place overall. „The best award for me was a compliment by J.L. Schlesser, the honourable guest of the race, after the 6th SS where we rode faster than Schlesser Original car, driven by top Spanish pilot Joan Vila Roca.“
