The nicer side of Baja Poland

The crew of Buggyra Ultimate Dakar, Tomas Ourednicek and Pavel Vaculik managed to climb up four places after Saturday’s technical problems, and finished Baja Poland, seventh round of FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies in 12th position.

“Sunday’s stage was great for us, the setup was now perfect. The track was a bit tricky in the forest but we enjoyed it. Our time in the first special was not so good because we were in the dust of a slower Toyota. The second special was great, we clocked 9th time, but in one part it was really muddy which was quite a surprise. In the afternoon on the longer track we had a small technical problem and also a puncture, but in the last special we finally were able to drive at our own pace and we finished 7th, so we were happy.

We’d like to say thank you to Scott Abraham and South Racing for their great support, we really enjoyed to drive the Ford Ranger Dakar again. The overall result is not really what we expected, but after yesterday’s problem this is not bad at all. Moreover, in the CEZ classification we finished 7th, scoring important points for the championship” Tomas Ourednicek said.

Buggyra Ultimate Dakar now has some time to rest before the World Cup continues with its penultimate round, Rallye Oilibya du Maroc on 1-7 October.
